Packages with human remains have been found at two Vancouver schools.

Canadian police said the packages contained a human hand and foot,.

But they declined to confirm whether the incident was linked to suspected the 29-year-old Luka Rocco Magnotta who appeared in a Berlin court – a day after he was arrested at an internet café-T.

The Canadian authorities are now preparing papers to request his extradition, and Mr Magnotta has reportedly said he will not fight the move.

Mr Magnotta is suspected of killing Chinese student Jun Lin, 33, in Montreal, and posting severed body parts to political parties in Canada.
